Pulp-pourri Theatre Audio Drama

Since 2013, World Audio Drama Day -- October 30th -- has been calling our attention to the existence, and the creation, and the preservation of audio drama. Not only the old stuff your grandparents talked about: new programs as well, that are being created every day by modern-day producers. Some are brilliant; others are barely listenable. But all of them contribute to the genre, and all are worthy of some kind of recognition. That's why W.A.D.D. was created. It's no coincidence that it's tied in with the anniversary of Orson Welles's "War of the Worlds" broadcast -- and I hope, if you're here and reading this, that you already know the significance of Orson Welles in my life.  But enough about the Day.
