Forgotten Silver (movie) John starts us off with a documentary that went direct to TV in New Zealand. It puts forward the tale of a kiwi inventor and filmmaker who actually was first in many fields. The documentary is a short project Peter Jackson put together after Heavenly Creatures and before he directed The Frighteners. The film uses all the common documentary tropes to paint a picture of a national hero. It is a complete fabrication. Forgotten Silver is available on iTunes and there are DVD copies out in the world.
