The series runs in 12 standard manga volumes, which have been collected in a few different editions.  Light Yagami - the human who gets his hand on the Death Note, isn’t exactly a compassionate person. “L” - the super detective soon gets on the case. Their’s is an epic struggle. You can get the entire series as 12 volumes on Amazon, or get it as 6 double volumes also on Amazon.
