Welcome back! On this episode of Take A Pitch, Billy is joined by fan favorites Chris and Mike (kinda, his best connection was while he was in his car) talking about all that went on in the baseball world over the last couple of weeks! To start off, the last time we recorded we had no idea what we were in for the next couple of weeks, IT GOT CRAZY! We saw record deals, and free agents flying off the board left and right! It was all headlined by Steven Matz's agent leaving Mets Owner, Steve Cohen, on read. And boy did the league learn quick not to do that as he had a frenzy taking 4 big names off the market in the matter of 4 days! Then to follow it up, we sadly have no more baseball as MLB and the MLBPA are now officially in a lockout. So for the final 20 minutes of this episode, we break down what exactly is going on and we give some of our thoughts on the whole lockout scenario!
