Mark Musick grew-up in Blair, Nebraska and immediately went into the Air Forceafter graduating from college. He spent eight years on active duty prior toreturning to Nebraska and joining the Nebraska Air National Guard.He retired from the military in 2008 at the rank of Major General. During hismilitary career he was the Commander for the Nebraska Air National Guard, theAssistant Adjutant General for the Air National Guard in Nebraska, and his finalposition was the Mobilization Assistant for the Deputy Commander of UnitedStates Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base.In early 2002 he met a woman named Eva McLelland, whose husband had justdied. She relayed an unusual story to him which he spent years researching. Thestory was about how Howard Hughes pulled the wool over the eyes of the publicand lived his last 25 years with the woman he loved. He finally met his maker inNov. 2001.
