Back up: While on the campaign trail Biden promised voters: “I’m gonna eliminate a lot of your student debt... I’m gonna make sure everybody in this generation gets 10k knocked off of their student debt."That was a lie: Biden's spending bill does not allocate a single penny for student debt forgiveness or cancellation. Adding insult to injury: The Biden administration announced that it would be ending the pause in student loan payments put in place under President Trump to help borrowers get through the pandemic. Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters it was time for “a smooth transition back into repayment."Where is money being spent?
