Sinopsis
Thomas de Quincey (1785-1859) was a British writer, journalist and essayist known today as one of the most original of his time. In this work, the author narrates and interprets, according to his own vision, the vicissitudes of the heroine and revolutionary Joan of Arc , attributing to her a warrior character but deeply human and dedicated to the community. It is a compelling text, interesting and raw, with obvious elements of violence and suffering, because, unfortunately, the story of Giovanna D'arco is soaked in blood.
