Returning from Season 1 is the Sega Saturn anniversary show - now with twice the music and no pre-recorded version! It's also a rare instance in which while Sonic can appear, he'd take a musical backseat - in this case to a certain purple flying jester...

In the first regular show since the SZRC2014, the evening's antics involved an OutRun new release sandwich, an unhealthy dose of Chemical Plant, promotion of 2 up and coming albums and... too much playing around with the microphone speed modulator. Eh??

For this show, Rexy became "Tails's retarded older sister" due to broadcasting live with a sore throat. But the second VS Week of the season went ahead - the Story Tellers vs the Industrial Builders! Were there Happy Ever Afters, or hammers ever harder?

Good Friday 2014 marked closure for OC Remix's Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014, going through a selection of work from the winning artist, all bonus tracks sent in, and many other escapades as well - ear chocolate without the tooth decay!

The finale of the Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014 came by in this week's show... as well as more community gossip than anticipating and banter concerning a certain OTHER RadioSEGA show in the process. Where SMD is going, it could go anywhere!

This week's SMD took a break from the SZRC 2014 coverage and went back to a pure no-thrills regular show, just like the start of the season. But with fate being tempted on more than one occasion, it could be hardly ordinary, couldn't it?

After 2 months, the Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014 Robotnik Bracket reached a... futile climax. Yet, the show didn't lose steam - playing through the winner-by-default, homages to Afterburner and SnappleMan... and an IRC visit from a certain Donnie??

This week’s SMD saw an Aqua Planet downpour in the Marble Garden as the Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014 reached the Sonic Bracket Final. Combine that with upbeat trance, a VGMix throwback and the humor you’ve come to know, and Spring has truly begun!

Happy Pi Day! Tonight’s focus was meant to be on the Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014 Robotnik Bracket Round 3, but there were Dwelling of Duels picks from the same past duels and other such insanity. But if European accents are your thing, you’re in the right place!

The Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014 went onto Round 2 of the Sonic Bracket, composing entirely of close calls… and one or two PINGAS references, apparently. Coupled with plenty of other SEGA remixes, could this be one of the funniest SMD episodes yet?

SMD’s Sonic Zone Remix Competition 2014 coverage continued with Round 1 of the Robotnik Bracket. Displeased with trying to dance semi-naked, his crooning for Valentine’s Day used 15 artists going head-to-head… and no shortage of scrambled eggs either!

During Winter 2014, the Sonic Zone Remix Competition returned at OC Remix’s competitions area, with 32 arrangers making remixes in a knockout tournament. This week had Round 1 of the Sonic Bracket and a first glimpse of what’s to come… and then some!

SMD did a DJ set with a difference, taking to its first VS Week! In this occasion, two groups of mixes representing Good and Bad Futures came together to see which would outperform each other via public vote. Which team will reign triumphant?

SMD may have faced a regular episode tonight, but in addition to the usual musical picks, tonight also featured an open call for Bug! coverage, plus an INSANE amount of Lava Reef Zone mixes outside of the Source Roulette. The show's literally heating up!

SMD reached its 50th episode... with not much of a special plan at all. But there's still a fun 2 hours of remixes here INCLUDING the longest track played on the show yet, as part of this week's Source Roulette. One heck of an adventure, indeed!

Rexy and SEGA Mixer Drive returned in 2014 for a new season – double the fun and with new block concepts! As well as that and the new and old remixes you’ve come to know and love, this episode was the one… with tracks getting compared to TV presenters! Also New 2 Season 2 – Introduced in this season are two artist/game specific blocks, ‘Community Spotlight‘ and ‘Source Roulette‘. In this episode, these blocks focused on the works of Phonetic Hero and Sonic Triple Trouble‘s Sunset Park respectively.

SMD may be out of season, but it joined Project 24 2013 over at the Sonic Stadium, along with many other RS shows. Live listeners had a chance to win Steam coupons, or a physical copy of OC Remix's The Sound of Speed - all while listening to killer mixes!

SMD sealed Season 1 by looking back at 2013 with a smile on its face – whether it be talkbed highlights or music from artists like Aviators, Brandon Strader, Dr Manhattan, DusK, EAR and PirateCrab among others, we can agree that this year went wild!
