The NFL season is already halfway through but there are still a lot of questions as to where some teams will finish. The bye weeks are in full effect and some teams are coming out hot and some are falling flat. We take a look and try to figure out which teams will really sizzle in the second half and which ones will fizzle by the end of the season.

Injuries everywhere! It was "Bloody Sunday" this weekend in the NFL with numerous high profile injuries striking teams. There may not be enough QBs left to go around. We take a look at the teams that have weathered the injury bug so far this year, along with the ones who will now have to and the ones who we think won't be able to.

Week 6 in the NFL brought us clarity on some teams and even more confusion for others. When it all comes down to it, now is the biggest time of the season when you will hear people making mountains from mole hill’s or ignoring evidence if it fits a narrative. It’s one of the toughest time to determine what we will see at the end of the season, but we are here to talk about what makes up a team’s true identity.

With 5 weeks of football behind us we are starting to see trends, both positive and negative. Some teams who were favorites for division titles are tanking and others who were thought to be rebuilding or taking a step back are already separating themselves from the pack. We will take a look at some of these teams that are defying the odds and see by how much they are exceeding or failing to meet expectations.

Week 4 in the NFL brings us a little clarity and a little separation. There are still a handful of unbeatens and still a few winless teams as well. As usual, there is a lot in the middle and while most of the middle hasn’t distinguished itself one way or the other, we want to know which teams at the top and bottom are giving us a true vision of what they are capable of this season. We try to do all we can to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Week 3 in the NFL gave us more upsets than we could handle! Running down the list of games we saw around 2/3 of the "favored" teams come away with a loss -- some due to poor play, some due to extraordinary effort from the underdog, and even some by teams showing us things they haven't shown us to this point in the budding 2013 season. We try to navigate the waters of the week and try to determine how so many upsets could all happen in the same football week.

It's too early to count some teams out, but that doesn't mean there are just some bad teams out there. We run down the 0-2 teams and let you know if your team should start panicking. The same thing is true, as always, with teams off to a fast start. Is every 2-0 team created equal? Well, we know they aren't, so we try to take a look beyond the record to see who should be standing tall in a few more weeks.

Week one of the NFL rarely gives us a glimpse at who is at the top and who is at the bottom. Typically it only creates more confusion as good teams play good teams and bad teams play bad teams — or some teams are still knocking some rust off from the off season. We try to determine where teams are in this crazy, mixed-up, budding season and who needs to simply “shake it off” and who may be in trouble.

The NFL season is finally here! or, well… it will be on Thursday! Either way we get to transition to a more season-centered format. But before we do, since everyone else in the world is making predictions for end-of-the-year awards and Super Bowl picks, we do too! Who will stand apart this season and be awarded some of the most prestigious offensive and defensive awards and what teams will be sitting atop the mountain when February rolls around? But, with week three still there to analyze, we take a look at the teams that still have the biggest questions to ask; how will the Bills, Raiders, Jets, and a few others address the concerns we have seen this preseason? Week two of the preseason is now behind us and the sought-after week three looms ahead. With the instant impact of rookies, the preseason gives us more and more to watch for every year. Even still, some things should be taken with a grain of salt, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything that can be taken away from the season before the season. We try to navigate the waters in between.

The end is here! Well, for the 2013 Divisional Breakdown Series. With the breakdown of the NFC West, we see the passing of the 2013 offseason and the beginning of the 2013 preseason. But before we get there we have to give you a team-by-team rundown of what we consider to be the strongest division in the NFL. What separates the NFC West apart from every other division in the NFL? Is it everything that it has been hyped to be this offseason? Will the fireworks and excitement of the top teams continue into the 2013 season?

Much like a reality game show, the reveal of our no.2 division gives away the end of the rankings. That doesn’t stop us from plowing ahead and looking at the things that make the NFC North the runner-up in our Divisional Breakdown series. Are the Packers still king? The Vikings took a lot of steps in the offseason, but did they take the right steps? Are the Bears regressing with their new head coach? And what is stopping the Lions from being a perennial playoff contender?

It’s the final countdown here on our Divisional Breakdown series. This week’s stop is the NFC South; the division that seems to never have the same winner two years in a row. Last year the Falcons ran away with the division through a series of head scratching wins and fourth quarter comebacks but was it luck or signs of a mentally tough team? We discuss that and try to figure out who will take the throne in the South away from the dirty birds.

Past the halfway point we find ourselves in the last AFC Division, the AFC North. By far the strongest AFC Division as things stand today, but still only better than one NFC Division. We take a look at how a Division that perennially sends multiple playoff teams (and includes last year’s Super Bowl champion) doesn’t manage to rank higher on our countdown. From roster purges to great Draft days, we hit it all.

Our Divisional Breakdown Countdown finds it’s first stop in the NFC. Unfortunately, the division that was our strongest last year has fallen to the last slot in its own conference. What happened between last year and this that has shaken our faith in the East? Has any team in this division made any real moves to compete in a very difficult NFC? We discuss.

Week three of the divisional breakdowns brings us the AFC South. The Texans and Colts found playoff berths last year but then were outmatched in the playoffs. Did each team do enough to take another shot at the postseason or was last year as good as it gets? With a weak AFC anything is possible, but are those things probable?

The divisional breakdowns continue with the division we think slides in as “one above” the AFC East. With the Super Bowl favorite from the AFC driving the division, the West has a much higher ceiling and a supporting cast of teams who are talented and looking to cash in on some off season changes. Will the Chiefs or the Chargers bounce back to relevance under new coaches? Are the Raiders the worst team in the NFL or will the recent house-cleaning start to show dividends this season?

From weakest to strongest, we will be lining up the divisions for assimilation. Up first, our weakest division, the AFC East. Find out where we think the Jets, Dolphins, Bills, and Patriots will end up next season when all is said and done. Who will improve? Who will falter?
