In a slow off-season news week, nothing gets bigger headlines than NEW UNIFORMS! *squeal* We break down just what all the fuss is about, and if this is really news at all. Also, RG3 declines a private workout from the Colts. What does this tell us about how draft day is lining up? And the Pre-Season schedule was announced, and we give you a few reasons to tune in to something that has historically been a disappointment.

The NFL Regular Season schedule was announced on Tuesday. We look at who logged the most Prime Time affairs, take a closer look at some of the match-ups that intrigue us, and wonder if MNF will actually be worth watching!

The NFL Draft starts today and the Pylons Crew takes some time to un-mock ourselves by going through and looking at how the top 10 might fall and how that might affect the rest of the draft.

The Pylons crew reach 100 episodes of the show. It has been a long time coming and the guys have enjoyed every minute of it (recording wise, not always what happens on the field). With a big show comes a big announcement, and that announcement is the current end of the podcast portion of Let Pylons Be Pylons. Don’t be sad! The guys give you a history of the show and their favorite moments. Also, what would any episode be without football talk?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year– Golden Pylons time. We give out our very own award for lots of the big AP award and some of our own making. So come, take a listen to the most important awards show that this podcast does.

The 2013 NFL Season is over, but we aren’t done talking about it. What were our favorite parts? What do we want to forget? Did the season live up to our expectations? What about the playoffs? So many things left to wrap up before the Golden Pylons are given out and the offseason begins. So let’s do this.

The biggest game of the year turned out to be a fairly one-sided affair. While that didn’t lessen some people’s enjoyment of the game, others were pretty let down. The guys take you through what went right and what went wrong with each team’s game plan as they also take a look at how things played out compared to what they predicted.

We record an in-depth, total breakdown of the upcoming big game and let you know where the flaws and strengths are with both teams… and then, due to technical difficulties, we lost all of that. So, we recorded a shorter, more concise, version that gets the general points across!

The field for the Super Bowl is set and if you would have listened to Mark before the season started, you would already know what teams are there. Seattle and Denver punched their tickets in the game that we all really wanted to see. How did they do it and did we get the best matchup? We discuss.

We head into Championship weekend with what many analysts are describing as the best four teams in football (we debate that a little) left playing for their respective conference Championships. How did they separate themselves in the Divisional Playoff round from their competition and who has the edge to represent their Conference in the Super Bowl?

Round one of the playoffs gave us one of the best-played weekends of football this season. Unfortunately it wasn’t a complete success as the Bengals fumbled (and intercepted) away their playoff opportunity. We take a look at what the losers will need to do in the off season to make sure “one and done” isn’t their situation again next year.

Week 17 delivered on its promise to come down to the wire where most of the playoff seeding wasn't decided until as late in the day as possible. Even so, there were not very many surprises-- minus a couple blown calls to send the Chargers to the playoffs in their game against the Chiefs back ups. We take a look at the week that was and the playoffs on the horizon.

The guys take a look back on the week the was, but mostly want to look ahead at the week that will be. In an effort to maximize the importance of some of the week 17 games, they are ordered from least impact to most impact. The team does their best to let you know why each game matters and who all it affects.

Mark revels in the knowledge that the Packers playoff hopes are alive. Along with his Packers, there are a number of teams that control their own destiny from here on out. There are only twelve playoff spots and the next two weeks don’t leave any room for error. This is also technically true of the Steelers, though Fizz already laments the futility of their far too late efforts.

After what some think was the possibly the best weekend in football ever, we try to take a step back and decide what good football really is and if we truly saw that on Sunday. There was a lot of good, but there was also a lot of bad. Where is the line and which side of the line would we put them on?

Another weekend of football brings us a lot more inconsistency from most of the NFL. With only a few teams rising to the top this season, the rest of the league is mired in something we like to call "Okay-ness." While some fans are happy that their team isn't a bottom feeder, we argue why they shouldn't be okay with only "Okay-ness."

With Parity running rampant in the 2013 season it's really anyone's guess as to how the season will end. Just when you think you have things figured out, a team will give you their worst effort while some others give you the kind of effort you thought you would see all season. It's a mess trying to sort out who will show up and who will beat who, but we try to get to the bottom of where teams true identity is.

Controversy! Controversy! While here at the show, we do recognize the impact big calls can have on big games, we also realize that games are typically not won or lost on one call. This past week had a couple of controversial calls that did have big impacts, but focusing on those stories neglects the actual football that was played for the other 59 minutes. So, we talk about those minutes, because, football.

There is a debate between the hosts about what makes good football and what makes boring football– like it or not, this is what we have. There are so many teams around the eventual 8-8 mark that the playoffs are not even beginning to look settled and that is something that depresses Fizz and excites Mark. Listen in as they discuss why.

The injuries continue in this season that is basically on life support for star players. How does Aaron Rodgers’ injury change the landscape of the NFC playoff picture? Who can already hang up their cleats?
