S7E2 Mrs Ferguson's Gated Mansion
24/07/2017 Duración: 44minIt's the regular trio as John is joined by Krys and John. The chat starts off by talking about Celtic and Aberdeen efforts in Europe with both teams progressing. Tougher ties await for both sides in the next round. There is talk of the Green Brigade causing their whole section to be closed for two games after a dodgy banner. The lack of shock results in Betfred Cup is discussed too with the group stages concluding on Sunday. We'll be back next week to preview the league campaign, as well as the return of the McBookie charity bets. Thanks for listening and remember we're on Twitter as sffpodcast if you wish to interact with us. And of course you can join us on Scottish Football Forums

S7E1 A Lack of Progres
18/07/2017 Duración: 56minIt's the first podcast of the season with John being joined by Krys and John B. We have good news to begin with as McBookie are continuing to provide us with the charity bets. We already have two Scottish teams knocked out of Europe as Rangers failed to Progres and St Johnstone lost too. Aberdeen face a journey to Bosnia with tie even at the moment. Celtic should go through after they came away from Linfield with a two goal lead. Unfortunately trouble off the pitch marred the tie. The Betfred Cup is given brief mention with tournament starting off with a shock result. The ins and outs in the Premiership is discussed with plenty of business still to take place I'm sure. Thanks for listening and remember we're on Twitter as sffpodcast if you wish to interact with us. And of course you can join us on Scottish Football Forums

S6E38 South American Drug War in Govan
12/06/2017 Duración: 50minIt's the final podcast of the 2016/17 season. The two John's and Krys are on to discuss the fixture between Scotland and England. There were highs and lows as Scotland managed to do what Scotland do best. They had the nation buzzing with Griffiths second free kick to go ahead but ended up only drawing. Has there ever been two free kicks scored by the same player so close together in a game? The season may have ended but it won't be long before it starts again. Rangers and St Johnstone are back in action on 29th of this month. In domestic football the season will start with the group stages of the Betfred Cup which opens with an Ayrshire derby on 14th July. Thanks to everyone who has listened this season. We appreciate your feedback and taking the time to listen. As always, thanks to McBookie for your support this season and previous ones too. S6E37 Kelly Brook and the Celtic Housecoat
29/05/2017 Duración: 01h03minIt's a squad on the podcast as Craig joins the recent regular trio of Krys and the two John's. We've decided to donate the charity winnings of £487.71 from McBookie to the Tartan Army Children's Charity John does a Kuate as the rest discuss the Premiership playoff. The cup final takes centre stage with an in depth discussion regarding the game and how it played out. The talk then takes a most random turn with talk of gardening and Kelly Brook. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. S6E36 Foran's Rotten Core
22/05/2017 Duración: 51minJohn is joined by John B and Krys with plenty to talk about as the season come towards it's conclusion. We're back to form with the charity bets as both were losers. Cowdenbeath preserved their league status and avoided a third consecutive relegation. There were two lots of Premiership fixtures with Aberdeen winning twice in Glasgow. Can they make it a third win on Saturday? The final takes up a fair bit of chat as Krys does his best Pedro impression by naming the Celtic line up. The two John's can't decide whether it's a good idea to start Ryan Jack or not. The Scotland squad was announced with a few surprises. Strachan remembered where Aberdeen is but still never picked Shinnie. There are no charity bets but thanks to McBookie for all your support this season and since we began the podcast. S6E35 Four-midable Jack and Victor
15/05/2017 Duración: 46minJohn returns and hosts the podcast, joined by John B and Krys. There is once again good news as we have a charity bet winner. That takes us to £487.71 for the season so still a chance to break £500 again. It is playoff central with lots being decided at the weekend. By the end of next week, things will be clearer in lower leagues with only Premiership place still to be decided. The Premiership fixtures are reviewed from the weekend. Aberdeen were once again defeated by Celtic but there were positives to take despite the scoreline. St Johnstone secured European football once again. Predictions are made with John opting out after forgetting to predict the first game. The charity bets are decided as we go in search of another winner. Thanks again to McBookie for providing us with the bets. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. And of course you can join us on Scottish Football Forums for all your predictor

S6E34 The Scoring Stag
08/05/2017 Duración: 59minKrys is back from his holiday bromance and this week is joined by John and Hamish. Yes, we eventually get to the game between their two respective teams! But before that, the lower league season has come to a close so we reflect on the ups and downs, the great disappointments and the great escapes of various teams across the Championship, League One and League Two as well as wondering if East Kilbride can follow in Edinburgh City's footsteps and make the step up to the SPFL from the Lowland League now that they've dispatched Buckie Thistle. We take a brief look at the PFA awards and discuss who was left out before ultimately deciding it didn't matter as they got them all right anyway. The focus turns to the relegation battle in the Premiership, and Krys explains what Jonathan Sutherland refused to explain on Sportscene as to just how Ross County aren't technically safe yet. Krys was bored this week apparently. In the top six, Celtic won again while Rangers over-celebrated clinching a European spot only to all

S6E33 Center Parcs 1 5
02/05/2017 Duración: 47minJohn is joined by Craig, who makes a rare but welcome appearance on the podcast. There is great news with regards to our FGS charity bet as Stevie Mallan scored first to add £100 to our charity pot. That gives us a total of £427. The other bet was unsuccessful due to Falkirk drawing with Queen of the South. It’s the last week of action in the lower leagues coming up so there is talk of who may or may not make playoffs or be promoted/relegated. Craig compliments Celtic on their convincing win at Ibrox and then discusses what players he thinks should be retained at Rangers. There aren’t many names mentioned. Craig is also critical of the idiotic Rangers fans involved in incidents at game on Saturday. John is disappointed with Aberdeen’s loss against St Johnstone but is still positive that second will be secured soon. The other action in Premiership is discussed with plenty goals at the weekend. Predictions are made and charity bet choices are made. Thanks again to McBookie for providing us with the bets.

S6E32 Notorious McGregors
24/04/2017 Duración: 41minJohn returns and is joined by Krys and John B. There is happiness all round as they all enjoyed their respective semis at the weekend. It was 50/50 with the charity bets as one was successful. Funnily enough, it added £50 to the charity pot. There's plenty to play for in the lower leagues with lots still to be decided. The guys discuss what may happen. Both Scottish Cup semis are analysed with one being a bit more challenging than the other. The end result was the two best teams of the season going through to meet in a repeat of League Cup final. The Premiership returns on Friday so predictions are made which leads us to charity bet choices. Thanks again to McBookie for providing us with the bets. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. S6E31 Eeny Meeny Miny Moe
18/04/2017 Duración: 57minKrys hosts once again, and this week he's joined by John (but not John) to discuss the various controversies after another action packed weekend of Scottish Football. Well, almost action packed. There was Kilmarnock v Hearts as well. It's congratulations to Hibernian for clinching the Championship title, while in League One Alloa Athletic have secured a playoff spot. Could they yet meet their former boss, Jack Ross? The battle to avoid the playoff at the bottom of League Two looks like it might go all the way, while in the Premiership its abundantly clear that the bottom six will be more interesting than the top six. So of course we question the post-split TV choices. And as for those controversies? Ghost goals, horrendous dives, skiving at work - it's all just another typical week for the SPFL and the SFA. No luck in the charity bet this week, but it was a bit of a large gamble. Thanks as always to McBookie for providing us with the stakes. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. S6E30 The Lafferty Impression
11/04/2017 Duración: 52minKrys hosts for the second week in a row and is joined by returning guest, Hamish. With no opportunity missed, discussions quickly turn to how Hamish thinks Ian Cathro is doing so far, as well as later discussing what Krys thinks of the news of Brendan Rodgers signing a new deal. But of course, the big talking points from two rounds of fixtures thanks to the midweek games come from the likes of bizarre midweek sending offs, Partick Thistle clinching their top six spot and the big game on Sunday in the battle for second. In the lower leagues, its congratulations to League One champions Livingston, while St Mirren lift themselves out of the relegation spots thanks to a win in the Renfrewshire derby as we record. There's even a charity bet win for a change! So with that in the bag, this week's choices see Krys and Hamish take a chance at big money. Thanks as always to McBookie for providing us with the charity bets. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and

S6E29 Hooked, Considine and Sinclair
03/04/2017 Duración: 55minKrys picks up the hosting duties once again, conveniently following the weekend that saw Celtic clinch their sixth successive league title. That was done in style, with a hat-trick at the centre of the win over Hearts, but it wasn't the most noted hat-trick of the weekend as that came on Friday night from the most unlikely of sources. In between those two games, there was a big brawl at New Douglas Park. Sadly, no one managed to catch it on camera so we all have to imagine what it was like. There's questionable tactical genius at Ibrox as the new man makes three half time substitutes, and there's even more questionable defending as Motherwell yet again take the lead there. There's relegation battle chat as things continue to hot up in the Premiership, Championship and League Two basements, while it's noted that Celtic's triumph may quickly be followed in League One by Livingston. Finally we try once again to win some money for charity after yet another dismal performance. Thanks as always to the good guys of

S6E28 Top of the Pops
27/03/2017 Duración: 36minJohn is joined by Krys to discuss the week gone by in Scottish football. The charity bet saw us pick Hibs but it was Morton who ruined the bet by losing for the first time in a year. With the excitement of Scotland winning we almost forgot about the FGS charity bet failure. The Challenge Cup is discussed with Dundee United achieving something that was previously done by their neighbours. After the doom and gloom of last week, Scotland put in their best performance for a while to bring some positivity for the rest of the campaign. It's still unlikely we'll qualify but at least it makes rest of the games interesting. Predictions are made as the Premiership returns with a chance that Celtic may clinch the title. Thanks once again to the good guys of McBookie for providing us with the charity bets. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. And of course you can join us on Scottish Football Forums for all your pr

S6E27 Levein's Puppet Show
21/03/2017 Duración: 43minJohn is joined by John B as they discuss the recent events in Scottish football. There is positive news for a change with regards to the charity bet as we actually got a winner. Aberdeen’s fine form continued at the weekend which prevented Celtic from securing the title just yet. In the bottom six, things continue to be interesting with so many teams fighting to avoid relegation. The Championship saw Hibs draw but extend their lead at top of the table. Can Morton apply some pressure on the league leaders? At the other end, St Mirren won to continue their revival. There is doom and gloom once again when it comes to discussing Scotland. Maybe we’ll be more positive next week. There is no Premiership action at the weekend so charity bets are chosen from elsewhere. Thanks again to McBookie for your continued support.

S6E26 Forfar-k Sake
14/03/2017 Duración: 53minIt's like a return to last season as John is joined by Krys. John B is in recovery after his stag. We fared a bit better with the charity bets but we still ended up losing both of them. It's decided that Hibs have probably clinched the Championship but there is still time for them to Hibs it. The race for the top six and to avoid relegation provides us plenty talking points from Saturday. Sunday saw Rangers, in the week they appointed a new manager become only the second team to take points off Celtic this season. There is the standard doom and gloom when it comes to the announcement of the Scotland squad. Hopefully the new introductions actually get their chance to impress. Predictions are made and a bonkers draw double is chosen for the charity bet. Thanks again to the good guys of McBookie for providing us with the bets. S6E25 Stag and Dwarf
07/03/2017 Duración: 01h32sThe terrific trio are on as John is joined by John B and Krys. There is pie chat to begin with thanks to @mackin83 tweeting us a photo of lasagne pie. All pie photos are welcome. There is brief discussion with regards to last week's Premiership action but most focus is on Scottish Cup. As predicted, the four home teams went through which makes for two interesting semis. Can Hibs win for the second year in a row after a 114 year wait? There are predictions and discussion of the upcoming Celtic v Rangers fixture. Charity bet predictions are made but we may as well pick names out a hat considering our lack of success this season. Thanks once again to McBookie for providing the Charity bets. Listen right to the end to find out the reason for our title. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. S6E24 Day Release Trio
27/02/2017 Duración: 38minIt's the magic number again as John is joined by John B and Krys. There is no surprise to hear that the charity bets were losers. We were unlucky though as the game involving our FGS pick wasn't played. John almost forgets about the Edinburgh derby from last week. I'm sure Hearts fans would like to do the same. The Premiership is covered with it being a good week for the likes of Dundee and Partick Thistle as they aim for top six. Rangers struggles continue as they lose again. It's Scottish Cup weekend and Krys and John will both be there to cheer their teams on. The charity bets are chosen. Thanks again to McBookiefor providing the bets. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. S6E23 Graeme Murty's Handstand
21/02/2017 Duración: 49minJohn returns after his break to host the podcast. He is joined by Krys and John B. The charity bets were once again unsuccessful which is a recurring theme. Aberdeen's fine week is discussed with two victories. John was at the game and discusses flying mobile phones and lost keys after 'the bounce'. Celtic win again which even Krys sounds a bit bored about. Rangers woes continue as they lose for the first time in 25 years at Dens Park. The podcast concludes with the usual predictions and charity bet choices. Thanks again to McBookie. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. And of course you can join us on Scottish Football Forums for all your predictor and forum needs!

S6E22 Get Interim
14/02/2017 Duración: 59minIt's all change at the top, and no we're not just talking about the latest events at Ibrox! Krys is back hosting for the first time this season as John takes a well earned break, we suspect for Valentine's Day as he goes to see his first love - Aberdeen. Don't worry though, we have more than one Aberdeen supporting John so Krys isn't alone like that one podcast back in the day. There's an in depth look back at the Scottish Cup fifth round ties from the weekend. Krys breaks out a stat about back to back hat tricks after Moussa Dembele's feat, while there's chat about the lack of decent surfaces and the usual back and forth over the merits of artificial pitches given some of the scenes we saw in the matches. We bemoan the Champions League's stranglehold over live TV slots, we offer up an interesting alternative possibility for the Rangers job, and we muse over the interesting switch in fortunes for the Renfrewshire derby teams. Of course, it's the usual story for the charity bet from last week, so we pick anoth

S6E21 Dembele's Magic Sponge
06/02/2017 Duración: 39minJohn is joined by Krys to discuss the week gone by in Scottish football. There is cup action to look forward to this upcoming weekend. Both charity bets were completely abysmal so we shall hope for better luck with the few league fixtures this weekend. The transfer window is discussed with most talk involving teams keeping players. Hearts were busy which is paying dividends going by last couple of results. Will there be any shocks in the Scottish Cup? Just remember 'Super Caley...' The podcast concludes with the choices for the charity bets. Thanks once again to the good folk at McBookie. Keep up to date with us on the sffpodcast Twitter account. Feel free to interact with us there and even to give us some feedback on the podcast. And of course you can join us on Scottish Football Forums for all your predictor and forum needs!
