"We make peace because we know the prince of peace." // Pastor Tim wrapped up "The Blessed Life" portion of the sermon on the mount. We also talked about how to Help Houston and gave our entire offering to Harvey Relief.

"Righteousness isn't a character trait you develop, it's a person you pursue." Pastor Tim continued our series in the The Blessed Life looking at blessing and righteousness from Matthew 5:6-8.

Pastor Tim kicked off our new series, The Blessed Life, in the sermon on the mount in Matthew 5:1-5. "Blessed are the poor in spirit"... The key to blessing is realizing you don't have the key.

Paul Alexander, executive pastor of Sun Valley Community Church, brought a special message to us on the next generation. Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Pastor Tim Birdwell continued our "Broken People. Big God." sermon series looking at the woman at the well in John 4.

On Father's Day Pastor Tim Birdwell continued in our series, "Broken People. Big God" looking at the life of Jacob. We talked about there being legacy in a limp, by men continuing to walk in the strength of Christ, even when life is difficult. We also took time to take up prayer requests for our men to lift them up in prayer all week.

Pastor Tim kicked off our summer sermon series, Broken People. Big God, looking at Genesis 2:15-18 and Adam & Eve.

Guest speaker Gray Ewing from New Valley Downtown closed out "The Bible Jesus Read" series looking at Kings in the old testament in 1 Samuel 8.

Guest preacher, Rick Efird, continued our series "The Bible Jesus Read" as we looked at how God gives us signs and "memorials" to remember his faithfulness.

The Old Testament makes up the first 39 books of our bible, about 3/4 of it. Yet many of us bypass it because we don't understand it. Pastor Tim Birdwell started a new series on the old testament looking at the Pentateuch, the first 5 books of the bible. We discovered that the Pentateuch is God’s Law, woven into the story of God’s people. It lays out a path to follow and shows us how Jesus fulfills the path on our behalf, and empowers us to walk in it.

Sabbath is more than a law to be obey, it's a rest to enjoy. Pastor Tim closed out our series with "Joyful Rest".
