Fresh off the Thanksgiving holiday the world fell upon some not so great news, the passing of visionary Virgil Abloh (September 30, 1980 – November 28, 2021). We discuss his impact on this episode, as well as how he bravely handled his prognosis of cancer silently for 2 years, and kept working until the very end.  The guys go into what we did for the holiday and dive into our #BrunchBanter question; What's the question you least wish to hear during Thanksgiving? It's a rarity for us to deep dive into another podcasts' episode, but the latest Drink Champs interview with YE (the visionary formerly known as Kanye West) left us (and pretty much the rest of the internets) no choice. YE has always been considered a forward thinker, and thanks to Nore and DJ EFN he left little to the imagination this time around. Looks like the world is going nuts yet again and this week E joins in on the fun as we poke fun at these morons. The Agenda takes it's jab at the Halloween franchise and tries labeling Michael Myers (yes, even fictional characters can catch it these days) a homophobe for killing a gay couple. Umm, call us a crazy but hasn't he killed hundreds of straights in the last 4 decades as well? Seems pretty liberal in our book. Jada takes another stab at Will's manhood and goes into it with Gwen Paltrow saying he should be a mind reader after a quarter century... huh?? Elon Musk is down to put $6B in the pot to solve world hunger if they can give him an intelligent solution. Hov gets inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and ends up extending a much needed olive branch to Dame, his long time business partner and compadre, and we can't be any happier! The guys weigh in on what we thought about his special and how we feel about the reaction from not only the multiple letters community, but also from his very own Black community. Well, it depends according to Handsome, and the worst texter of the cast, Josh, actually agrees that it's a red flag! Most of the cast is big on fashion and love to delve into brands on the come up. During 718 Day our production assistant Faidh, ran into a young gentleman wearing a fire shirt with the World's Fair Globe on it. He learned that the gentleman was actually the designer of said shirt. They chopped it up for a bit and here we are today, with our esteemed guest Devin Lee (@thadotman) owner of Ambition Worldwide (@ambitionworldwide). Dev let's us in on the beginnings of the brand. How he and his late partner Blanco first got into the business, the idea behind the name, the trials it's taken to get here today, and what it means to both their legacies to see this dream through. We speak on high fashion & NY Fashion week. Cheddie & Josh touch on male athletes and celebrities with their recent affinity for skirts. NYC Unemployment has ended and maaaaad people are feeling it. We have a long history as a show, 4+ years to be exact. One question Cheddie always gets (after "Does Handsome REALLY have to be on the show? I hate that guy...) is "When's Brain coming back??!" Well... BRIAN'S BACK!... for an episode (real sitdown episode soon come). Fittingly enough this week the guys get into a few topics dealing with loyalty, like the true story behind the Pacers locker room on that famous night Metta Worldpeace decided to be less than peaceful and a lot more worldly. We find out when he knocked some sense into those fans at "The Malice in the Palace" - Jermaine O'Neal actually hated his guts after. Originally leaving the show because his girlfriend, now fiance (guess leaving us worked in his favor), we ask Brian how he'd feel if binge-mate skipped ahead and saw a series finale without him? He also chimes in on this "crate challenge" and tells us there's actually been a shortage of crates at his supermarket in the Bronx after all this! Purple Bagels? WHAT?!!  We had the privilege this week of stopping by one of the premiere bagel shop's in Queens, Tulip Bagels of Floral Park. Owned by a good friend and young business mogul in the making, Anthony Kelly (@anthonykellyy). Not only did he invite us into his world but he also greeted us with our very own Purple Bagels! And to top it all off he honored us with the new fall addition to his menu "The PCXC", which is an everything bagel loaded with veggie cream cheese, vintage grape jelly from the hills of Tuscany, and extra butter (available every Sunday for the duration of the NFL season, starting September 8th). Anthony brought us into his world and let us in on how his dream of owning his own bagel shop, which began 20 years ago at the ripe age of 12, all came into fruition. During our show he joined in on some Purple Cup banter, starting with one of his child heroes, ex-governor Andrew Cuomo (Uncle Andy), and how misunderstood most Italians are when showing what they deem as affection.

The guys share their take on community building, the education system, the media's portrayal of Simone Biles, mental health not only in sports but in every day life, and much more. Also New York is toying with a 24 hour district (kinda like Amsterdam) and not everyone is too happy about it. New York seems to be in FULL effect and the guys are loving it! Everyone's always on us about having a female guest on the show, so for the first time in a SUPER long time (I think 2018 was the last time we had some estrogen present) we have none other than - Tracy Cheddie (@TCheddaa) in the building!!!!  Cheddie (Jon) invited his sister Cheddie (Tracy) on to join the cast and bring some XX chromosome pairing to the mix. We dig into her stance on going dutch, the new age power behind the feminine representative in society, and rules about befriending friends exes on our #BrunchBanter topic this week. We had an EXCELLENT time getting the other sides' perspective this episode and hope to have Ms. Cheddie back on a future episode.
