So theres this guy, Barry, he’s just really mad at the Russians for interfering in our elections, told there leader to cut it out. They laughed, he said Boom! Sanctions. Not much to add here. This begins the explanations of charges and the reasons for which people were not charged. In the end i'm not sure anyone actually received directly damaging information, but not for lack of trying on Russia's end. Russia very much attempted to compromise Donald trump, and actually did have several of those in his orbit in compromising positions, but it does seem others within the campaign were either inept, cautious, or clueless. I'm not saying there isn't guilt. There was a lot of destruction of evidence, Obstruction of the investigation, and i'm sure there are elements of the whole situation that are beyond criminal. So. Hers what we know so far. V Putin believed that Hillary Clinton had interfered in his election when she was Secretary of State. Paying protesters. He then and because of that, “Arranged’ an attack on our election once she had entered the race. This attack was anti Clinton and not Pro Trump Somewhere in this timeline. V Putin held a meeting with his 50 Oligarchs to warn of upcoming sanctions that would drastically affect their businesses. He suggests to them that if Russia could develop better relations with the new administration maybe they could forge a better relationship with the U.S and avoid sanctions. Volume II of the report addresses obstruction of justice. The investigation intentionally took an approach that could not result in a judgment that Trump committed a crime.
