Fiji Episode 3
23/02/2007 Duración: 39minHere's a first. Jo Ann wasn't able to join me for tonights podcast, so I'm flying solo. Hopefully, she'll be back for the Listener Feedback show, but right now she's focused on helping her mom. What would you do to fix Ravu? Would getting rid of Mookie help? I can only recall two other seasons where the Survivors got fire without having the magnesium and flint firestarter. How many do you recall and which were they? Why do you think Moto chose the second set of fishing gear instead of their luxury items? Here's the tribes after episode 3. Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Gary, Lilliana, Lisi, and Stacy Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, and Yau-Man I'm going to bite this time. I think Gary will vote himself out in the next episode. Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Do you think Gary is actually in jeporady or is it a classic misdirect from "the evil Mark Burnett"? We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5

Fiji Episode 2
16/02/2007 Duración: 53minCan you believe it? We started this podcast two years ago today, Feb 15th, 2005. One hundred and twenty one shows later and we're still cranking them out and still enjoying talking about Survivor with you. :) Jo Ann and I are still doing the east coast/west coast thing, but we managed to sync up and chat about Survivor Fiji episode 2 tonight. What did you think about Yau-Man scoping out Sylvia's haversack looking for the HII, Hidden Immunity Idol? Is he a smooth operator or did he get busted? Have you ever been seriously dehydrated? Would you have eaten the snake? Do you think Ravu made the best choice for the team? Here's the tribes after episode 2. Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Gary, Lilliana, Lisi, and Stacy Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, Sylvia, and Yau-Man Silly as it might seem, we both think Sylvia will be voted out next. That "Next on Survivor" clue is a misdirect. Are you buying it? :) Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? Who do you think is in

Survivor Fiji: Episode 1 Listener Feedback
14/02/2007 Duración: 01h15minIt's our first Listener Feedback show of the new season! The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. We've got a great mix of regulars and quite a few new voices, all with diverse takes on what happened in episode 1. This week we hear from: Taz, Rumarie, Hanna, MikeK, Fancy, Sandi, Jeannie, Paul, Toledo Dave, Brian, JoshuaJ, Brad, and Carol Thanks again for your patience with the audio quality. We had more than a few technical challenges pulling this particular show together. I tried my best to level the audio out, but there were some modulation problems on my side that I couldn't clean up. Hopefully, it will be only one more show before we're back together. We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Fiji: Episode 1
09/02/2007 Duración: 41minWelcome back Survivor Fans! For the first time, Jo Ann and I weren't able to watch the episode together, but we had a good time recapping it over the phone. What would you do if you were Sylvia? Would you share the clue or keep it to yourself? One of the worst things you can do is mess with other people's sleep. Do you think Dreamz will be the first voted out if Moto does manage to lose? What did you think of Jessica? Did she remind you of Briana from Survivor Guatamala? They're both "make-up artists" and seemed to leave a similar impression with their tribemates. Here's the tribes after episode 1. Moto: Alex, Boo, Cassandra, Dreamz, Edgardo, Gary, Lilliana, Lisi, and Stacy Ravu: Anthony, Earl, Erica, Michelle, Mookie, Rocky, Rita, Sylvia, and Yau-Man We both think Sylvia will be voted out next. Who's your pick for the next one to get voted out? We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Survivor Fiji Preview
02/02/2007 Duración: 01h41minLet's talk Survivor Fiji! If you're a hardcore Survivor Fan you're going to love this preview show. This is the biggest show we've ever done, weighing in a 1 hour 41 minutes. You might need to listen in chunks, but it's worth it. We've never had a more diverse take on the new Survivors. It's amusing, insightful, and delightful. We've got listener feedback from: Josh, Carol, Denver Dave, Fancy, Kris, Brad, Paul, Bonnie, Hanna, and Bob. Two quick corrections: Listener Josh is in Wisconsin, and Listener Bob picked Becky as first out last season (just like we did), not Ozzy. He picked Sekou as the Sole Survivor. :) If you're interested in participating in the Jo Ann & Stacy Show Survivor Fantasy League(JSFL), send an email to jsfl.admin@gmail.com with JSFL in the subject line to let us know, and we'll add you to the roster and send you additional instructions. The prize this season will be similar to last season, e.g. a Survivor t-shirt or Survivor DVD Blast game. Not sure what the JSFL is? Check ou

Survivor Fiji: Preview Request Show
26/01/2007 Duración: 18minWelcome Back! Survivor's back for their 14th season, and this marks our 5th season of podcasts following along with all the twists and turns. We begin each season with our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show. We want to hear what you think about the 19 new contestants for Survivor Fiji. There's not a lot of information to draw on. It's not clear yet how all these diverse people will interact with each other or what agendas they plan to follow throughout the game. Study their pictures, read their bios and let us know how well you think they will do this season. What do you think about the decision to divide the tribes into "priveleged vs the poor"? Who's your pick for the first one voted out? Go out on a limb, and tell us who you think will win it all. Who will make the merge and who just doesn't stand a chance? Cook Islands Finale
18/12/2006 Duración: 55minThe Aitu 4 held strong and persevered all the way to the end. That will certainly go down in Survivor history as one of the greatest comebacks ever. Cook Islands: Episode 13
16/12/2006 Duración: 01h03sI vote we rename this episode to: "A remarkable talent for stating the completely obvious" In case you missed it. It turns out that Ozzy and Parvati represent a threat in the challenges as well as the end game, and Adam needs to win challenges. Do you think there's any stopping Ozzy at this point? Is there a chance that Adam was playing a very strategic game and actually chose to throw the immunity challenge to make sure he was viewed as less of a threat than Parvati? Did Probst step over the line when he told the jury who returned Jonathan's hat? Here is the tribe after episode 13. Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul We think Adam will be 5th out. If we get enough Listener Feedback, we'll put together another show on Saturday. Who is your pick for who the next one to be voted out, who do you think will make final 3, and who's your pick to win it all? We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and

Cook Islands Episode 12 Listener Feedback
13/12/2006 Duración: 01h25minWhat's that? You say you wish you had some friends to sit down with and talk about that last episode of Survivor? Were you disappointed with the results of episode 12 and stunned at the apparent lack of thought that went into their decision at Tribal Council? There's just one more episode before the finale and so many things could happen. No problem. We got you covered. :) It's time for another Listener Feedback show where it's your chance to join us as co-hosts of our Survivor Fans Podcast and share your reaction, critique, analysis, and strategies for the events in episode 12 and the all the possible end game scenarios. This week we hear from: Josh, Carol, Brad, James, Fancy, Bob, Hazel, Shawn, Paul, Dave, Mike, Sandi, Brian, Anonymous, and Josh We love hearing what you thought about each episode, and we've got several ways you can reach us. Cook Islands: Episode 12
08/12/2006 Duración: 53minOk, here's another of the Survivor golden rules that are frequently overlooked at this point in the game. 1) Don't vote solely with your emotions. Delay your need for instant gratification or for revenge. You are there to win a $1M. Stick with logic for the win. Remember Danni's example from Survivor Guatemala. You've got family to take care of and that's who you will be with when you get back. You'll very likely never see your fellow Survivors again six months after the finale. Here are some questions to get us started for the Listener Feedback show. You're Jonathan and can see the writing on the wall. What do you do to save yourself? Was there anything you think he should have tried? Who does Yul have a stronger alliance with: Becky or Ozzy? Did Yul or even the entire Aitu 4 just buy a couple of jury votes? Who are your most and least desirable final three? Here is the new merged tribe after episode 12. Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Parvati, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Next week's episode is titled "I Have t

Cook Islands Episode 11 Listener Feedback
06/12/2006 Duración: 01h25minEpisode 11 was charged with emotions and you knew our super intelligent podcast audience would be all over it. Get ready to take a deep dive into all the details as JASS listeners from around the world share their views of what happened and the repercussions that we can look forward too as we race towards the finale. Thanks to Listner Mike, we now know why Adam refused to give Candice any more money at the auction. Jonathan wasn't the only one chowing down after all. Go check out pictures 26 and 27 in the photo gallery at the cbs site. Cook Islands: Episode 11
01/12/2006 Duración: 53minHere's a couple of Survivor golden rules for all the future contestants. 1) No matter how good your chances are looking, don't gloat. 2) No matter how angry or desperate you get, don't lash out in anger. Here are some questions to ponder for the Listener Feedback show. Have you ever eaten an entire pizza by yourself, in one sitting? Did it cost Yul anything when he revealed that he had the Hidden Immunity Idol during the auction? Did it perhaps help Jonathan in any way? When Yul, Becky, and Sundra were talking about "changing the order", what did they mean? Did they possibly have Jonathan as a fourth? Do you think the jury is likely to be swayed by the Raro brats (Adam, Candice, and Parvati)? Who did voting out Candice hurt more: Jonathan or Yul? Here is the new merged tribe after episode 11. Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Jonathan, Parvati, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul In the next on Survivor preview, Yul's talking about "arranging a hit", but we both think that's a misdirect and expect Adam to go next. Are you s

Cook Islands Episode 10 Listener Feedback
28/11/2006 Duración: 01h08minFear not Jonathan, Aitu loves you! Episode 10 was all about the strategy. This is the most we've ever seen the Hidden Immunity Idol played and everyone wants to talk about it. If Bob from Minnesota is right, it could all change again on Thursday. This week we hear from: Claudia, James, Denver Dave, Carol, Damien, Brad, Graham, Hanna, Bob, Mike, and Bonnie We love hearing what you thought, and we've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Cook Islands: Episode 10
24/11/2006 Duración: 57minBe honest now. Did you really think he was going to switch, or were you sweating bullets like Jo Ann right up until that final vote was read? :) Here are some questions to mull over for the Listener Feedback show. So lots of us relish rooting for the underdogs, and we have a fresh set after this week's tribal council. Are you at all tempted to start pulling for Adam, Candice, or Parvati now? Assumming Raro caught a clue during this episode, could they have arranged enough votes to nullify the Hidden Immunity Idol? What was going on when Adam kept saying bananas? Did Yul offer final 2 to Jonathan? Do you think it's possible for Jonathan to be Sole Survivor now? Here is the new merged tribe after episode 10. Aitutonga: Adam, Becky, Candice, Jonathan, Parvati, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul It's about individual immunity now and we think the Aitu four have a score to settle. Jo Ann and Stacy both think Adam will be the next to go. With the return of the Prodigal Son, the tiny Aitu four appear to be in power

Cook Islands Episode 9 Listener Feedback
22/11/2006 Duración: 01h02minNeed a little more Survivor goodness while you deep fry the turducken and bake up some pumpkin pie? We love gabbing about Survivor and so do our listeners. This week we hear from: Carol, Brian, Bob, Denver Dave, Claudia, Paul, Bonnie, Brad, Sandi, Robert, and Mike We got another bumper from a past Survivor. Lex van den Berghe did us the honor of opening up the show. Thanks Lex, and thanks again to listener Lisa! Now that we're at the merge, listener Brian asks, "Given what you know now, who's your pick for Sole Survivor?" Send us an email or call the voicemail and let us know who you think is going to win it all, and we'll post the results here on the page for everyone to see. Cook Islands: Episode 9
17/11/2006 Duración: 47minNow that's how you do a double elimination! If you're rooting for the underdogs, you've got to be happy with how that turned out. What do you think Nate is thinking after that last vote? He talks smack non-stop, but often seems to be completely out of the loop on the voting. Where does he stand in Raro now? Is he the solid #4 man or did he just get the boot to #5? Episode 10 is titled, "Why Would You Trust Me?". Who do you think that's directed at? What do you think Yul will propose as his great plan? Is he working on the plan because he's desperate to save someone or is it just forward looking strategy? Just how far do think Jonathan can make it now? Do you think it's possible for him to make final 5? Here are the tribes after episode 9. Aitutaki: Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jonathan, Nathan, Parvati Time for the merge and that means individual immunity challenges! Cook Islands Episode 8 Listener Feedback
15/11/2006 Duración: 01h18minAre you a fan of Survivor? I don't mean a casual watcher. Someone who says, "Oh yeah I saw the episode where they were on that island". I mean a real fan. The type that can sit down and talk about what happened in the last episode for over an hour and not think twice about it? If you answered yes, then we've got a treat for you! It's called the Listener Feedback show and it's another whopper, chock full of new analysis, strategies and commentaries from other fans just like you from around the world. :) We got a couple more congratulations messages from past Survivors thanks to Listener Lisa to share this week too. One of them makes us crack up laughing everytime we listen to it. Thanks again Lisa! This week we hear from: Coby from Survivor Palau, Brian, Hanna, James, Denver Dave, Claudia, Graham, Paul, Kurt, Carol, Brad, Bob, Sandi, Mike, and Billy from Survivor Cook Islands.
