Cook Islands: Episode 8
10/11/2006 Duración: 46minIn the beginning, Yul said "If we break up now, then we're toast!". So saith Yul and so shall it be. Here's a roleplaying assignment for this week's Listener Feedback show. If you were Jonathan, who would most likely be voted out next on Aitu, do you stay if offered the chance to join the other tribe? Now your on Aitu, what's the best thing you can say when asked what you think about your teammate's choice to mutiny? You're Jonathan again, what's your cover story to explain to Raro why they should keep you? Now for some conventional questions. Why is Candice so eager to sell out Jonathan? What is the significant information that the losing tribe will receive? Why didn't we see anyone express concern that Jonathan might have the hidden immunity idol? Do you think there's any chance now that someone from Aitu will make it to final four? Here are the tribes after episode 8. Aitutaki: Becky, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jenny, Jonathan, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebecca Episode 9 is titled,

Cook Islands: Episode 7
03/11/2006 Duración: 42minWith tonight's episode we see the last of the "I'm here for the experience" clueless players exit the game. We're finally down to a set of folks that are actually interested in playing to win which makes the stakes much higher and more interesting at each turn. The tribes are at even numbers now. The merge can't be too far off. These next couple of episodes are going to be key in deciding which tribe enters the merge with the numbers to control their destiny. Looks like Aitu's plan was to "kidnap" a powerful player and take them out of the game. Was that the best use of the kidnap option? Is Brad the next to go on Rarotonga? If you were Brad or Ozzy, would you switch tribes given the opportunity? He feeds you. He's consistently been a key to winning physical challenges, but how long do you hold on to a powerhouse individual like Ozzy? Here are the tribes after episode 6. Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebecca Jo Ann thinks it

Cook Islands: Episode 6
20/10/2006 Duración: 46minWho were you most impressed by in the reward challenge? What strategy would you have used to avoid being dragged to the line? What did you think of Plan Voodoo? Each tribe had to lose someone this week. What did you think of their choices? Have you been able to figure out exactly who is in control at Rarotonga? Who would you have chosen to "kidnap" from Raro? Here are the tribes after episode 6. Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, and Rebbeca The finale is scheduled for December 17th, and starts with a final five instead of the typical final four. Cook Islands: Episode 5
13/10/2006 Duración: 43minOk, let's try this again. Who is really in charge at Rarotonga now? After episode 4, we thought it was clearly the women. Now, we're not so sure. As Listener Bob in Minnesota pointed out last week. Female alliances are rarely sustainable. Do you think they will really be able to regroup and come back to win after losing their weakest physical player? Survivor Pop Quiz: 1) When is it ok to say you're weak or ready to leave the game? 2) When is it ok to tell everyone that the hidden immunity idol is no longer on Exile Island? 3) When is it a good idea to talk incessantly or to boss others around? 4) When is it a good idea to paddle out almost 4 miles in a small boat to go adventuring? There are quite a few Survivors this season that could really use some help with the answers. :) Check this out! Listener Graham in Scotland broke out some Google Earth topography skills and figured out how far the three stooges from Aitu had to paddle to get to Raro's island. Here are the tribes after episode 5. Aitutaki:

The Rarotonga women sent a strong message to the men: "You are not safe". The outro music looks forward to episode 5 where Aitu pays an unwelcomed visit to Raro's island. Cook Islands: Episode 4
06/10/2006 Duración: 46minWho is really in charge at Rarotonga now? Do you think they will really be able to regroup and come back to win after losing their strongest physical player? What do you think is most important this season: brains or brawn? Would you keep sad sack Ozzy around or discard him the first chance you got? Who's smarter: Parvati or Nathan? Would you have had the guts to vote out your physically strongest asset? Here are the tribes after episode 4. Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Cao Boi, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Cristina, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati, Rebbeca, and Stephannie We just wrapped episode four and there are still 16 people in the game. Will this finally be a double elimination week? We think it will be Cao Boi on Aitu and and Nathan is our pick for Raro. Who's your pick(s) for next to get voted out? We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a qu

Cook Islands: Episode 3
29/09/2006 Duración: 52minSay goodbye to Puka Puka and Manahiki. Unless you missed the preview commercial or the LF show, you knew there was a merge coming. That seemed like a pretty fair way to distribute the teams, but this show stood out for another reason too. This turned out to be another one of those episodes that left us wondering more about what we didn't see than what we did. What happened to Candice on Exile Island? Was there another clue and another idol already hidden there? Did Rarotonga chow down on that octopus? And most importantly, did Yul gift the Hidden Immunity Idol to Becky before Tribal Council? What do you think about these new tribes? Here's the tribes after episode 3. Aitutaki: Becky, Candice, Cao Boi, Jessica, Jonathan, Ozzy, Sundra, and Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Brad, Cristina, Jenny, JP, Nathan, Parvati, Rebbeca, and Stephannie We're sticking with our prediction of a double elimination again for the next episode. There's still way too many tribe members in the game. Jo Ann thinks i

27/09/2006 Duración: 01h18sIt's time for Listener Feedback on Episode Two! The LF shows are where you get to co-host the show with us and share your views on the most recent episode. This week we hear from: Carol, Fancy, Denver Dave, Sandi, James, Jason, Bonnie, Bob, Brad, Rob, Kurt, and Graham. There is definitely a merge this week, and we still think there will be two castaways voted out too. Prepare for a complete reset and shuffle as the game starts over. Will the previous 6 days count for anything when tribe members are split up from each other? We love hearing what you thought, and We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). Cook Islands: Episode 2
22/09/2006 Duración: 55minThat was an interesting twist this week. I believe we just witnessed the birth of a stalker on an episode of Survivor. We're really enjoying the change in format. The combined reward/immunity challenge gives us so much more time with the castaways, and this episode was jam packed with interesting events. Here's the tribes after episode 2. Aitutaki: Cecilia, Cristina, J.P., Ozzy Manihiki: Nathan, Rebecca, Stephannie, Sundra Puka Puka: Becky, Brad, Cao Boi, Jenny, Yul Rarotonga: Adam, Candice, Jessica, Jonathan, Parvati We think the tribes will merge down to two next week. We also think there will be two castaways voted out next week. Jo Ann thinks Cao Boi and Jessica will be voted out next. Stacy says it will be Parvati and Nathan. Who's your pick for the next castaway(s) to get voted out? Do you think they will merge down to two tribes? If so, how do you think they'll choose the new tribes? Who do you predict will be the other rumored romance this season? We've got several ways you can reach us. Y

Cook Islands Preview Show
11/09/2006 Duración: 01h18minAre you as psyched about the new season of Survivor that starts this Thursday as we are? We can't wait, and what better way to get ready than a preview show where we wade in and share our extremely biased views on how we think all the new castaways will do before we ever get to see them in action? Our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show gives us an excuse to get to know the new Survivor contestants and sharpen our psychic powers as we do just what our parents and religous leaders taught us not to do which is to judge people on surface detail alone, without any real knowledge of who they are. We, of course, encourage you to play along at home, and we got some great feedback this time too. A special thanks to: Fancy, Carol, Hanna, Sandi, Graham, and Bob for taking the time to share their opinions too. Here are the tribes at the start of Survivor 13: Cook Islands Aitutaki: Billy, Cecilia, Cristina, J.P., Ozzy Manihiki: Nathan, Rebecca, Sekou, Stephannie, Sundra Puka Puka: Becky, Brad, Cao Boi, Jenny, Yu

Cook Islands Preview Request Show
08/09/2006 Duración: 20minIt's time to kick off a new season of Survivor with our traditional "Judge a Book by its Cover" show. We want to hear what you think about the 20 new contestants for Survivor Cook Islands. There's not a lot of information to draw on. It's not clear yet how all these diverse people will interact with each other or what agendas they plan to follow throughout the game. Study their pictures, read their bios and let us know how well you think they will do this season. We of course want to hear what you think about the decision to divide the tribes by race. Is it a grand "social experiment" or just another stunt that Mark Burnet proposed to stir up interest in the show? Who's your pick for the first one voted out? How many episodes will they air with four teams before they merge down to the normal two? Go out on a limb, and tell us who you think will win it all. Will Exile Island play a significant role in this season? If you're interested in participating in the JSFL, send us an email with JSFL i
