Before the game against Lafayette, Play-by-play man Mike Watts caught up with Fordham Head Football Coach Joe Moorhead to talk all things Fordham Football.

Here is the November 2013 edition of the Roach Report, Mack Rosenberg's monthly sit-down with Fordham Athletic Director David Roach. In this month's edition, we spoke about Fordham Football's undefeated hopes moving forward and how crazy the last two games were for the Rams- both two point wins.

Fordham fell to Syracuse Tuesday night at the Carrier Dome, 89-74. The Rams had three players in double figures including a career high 34 points from Branden Frazier and 19 from Jon Severe. Turnovers and too many second chance opportunities for the Orange did not help Fordham on Tuesday, as the team drops to 1-1 on the young season. They trailed by over 20 points for most of the game, but didn't give up. The Rams cut the Orange lead to 13 with about 3:30 left before Syracuse put it away.

The Fordham Rams are 10-0 for the first time in school history thanks to a thrilling victory over Bucknell on Senior Day. Saturday's game featured one of the wildest endings in recent memory for Fordham, Head Coach Joe Moorhead sits down with Mike Watts and Nick Logerfo and gives his take on this defining win. he Fordham Men's basketball team opens up it's 2013-2014 campaign this Friday against St. Francis at the Rose Hill Gym. For the Rams, it's the start of a new era as Chris Gaston (over 1,000 points and averaged a double-double at Fordham) has graduated. Myself and Chris Marasco preview the season in this special podcast, and there are quite a few points to hit on. We spoke about those topics and much more, with interviews from Tom Pecora, Branden Frazier, Travion Leonard and Jon Severe.

Fordham continues to make history, now 9-0 after a hard fought victory against Holy Cross, 30-32. Get an inside look at the keys to the team's success. Finally, Coach Moorhead tells listeners what to expect from Bucknell, in Fordham's final home game.

The Fordham Rams continued their pursuit of an undefeated season with a narrow defeat over Holy Cross this Saturday 32-30. Fordham was led, as they have been all season, by quarterback Michael Nebrich who became the first player in school history to throw for over 500 yards. Fordham found themselves trailing at halftime for the second time this season. Holy Cross QB Peter Pujals took advantage of two Fordham turnovers in the first half. But the Rams came out strong in the second half, giving up just one touchdown to Holy Cross and scoring two touchdowns plus a key field goal from Mike Marando to make it a 9 point lead.

With the final four Patriot League games looming after the bye week, a perfect regular season and Fordham's first playoff berth since 2007 are on the line beginning with next Saturday's matchup with Holy Cross. Joe Moorhead told me what the team did during the bye week and what it's like knowing loge seats are already sold out for the next two games at Jack Coffey Field.  He told me how Brett Biestek's targeting suspension was overturned by appeal, and the development of the team's freshmen as well as the status of his recruiting efforts for next year.  We also talk about the second year head coach's future and FBS opponents he'd like to see on upcoming schedules.

Fordham Football improves to 7-0 with a 34-12 win over the Georgetown Hoyas in Washington, DC. Fordham QB Michael Nebrich went over 400 yards and broke a Patriot League record in the process, completing 20 straight passes in the 1st Half.

Fordham Football remains unbeaten and after defeating 10th ranked Lehigh for just the third time in school history, the Rams become a Top 10 team in their own right. On this edition of Monday Night Quarterback, Mike Watts and Nick Logerfo talk to Head Coach Joe Moorhead in his weekly spot, quarterbacks coach Andrew Breiner, wide receiver Sam Ajala and safety Levon Williams.

Fordham (6-0) and Lehigh (4-1) seemed nearly even through 29 minutes and 40 seconds.  A 40-yard touchdown to Sam Ajala with 13 seconds left in the first half proved to be a turning point, as the Rams outguned the Mountain Hawks down the stretch to extend their unbeaten start.

They also break down the 38-20 comeback victory over St. Francis and key plays in that win like Jorge Solano's opening kick-return touchdown. In the X's and O's segment, DJ and Nick talk to offensive Line coach and run game coordinator Joel Rodriguez explains how the line handled diffrent pressures from St. Francis.

A year after a tightly contested Liberty Cup victory against Columbia (0-1) on the road, the Rams (4-0) overpowered the Lions in front of over 7,000 at Jack Coffey Field, 52-7.  And despite the score at half, 10-0, the game never seemed within reach for the Lions. The Rams offense were keyed by Carlton Koonce on the ground, scoring two touchdowns in the red zone.  Through the air, Brian Wetzel caught two touchdowns, while quarterback Michael Nebrich worked past a couple of turnovers to turn in another award worthy performance. On defense, the Rams pitched a shut out for over 55 minutes, Ian Williams forced a fumble off a devastating corner blitz, which Brett Biestek recovered for the touchdown. Williams finished with six tackles, two forced fumbles, and Patriot League defensive player of the week honors. After a thrilling 30-29 win over Temple, the Rams have received numerous national attention and accolades. With some calling the win "the best in the modern Fordham football era", it's easy to see why the program is in such a good mood.  We were on location this week, in the Fordham football locker room, to get the scoop on everything Fordham football after such a defining moment in the young 2013 campaign.

The last time Fordham beat Villanova, Warren G. Harding was the president of the United States. The Rams snapped a 93 year losing streak to the Wildcats with an emotional 27-24 win over the eighth best team in the FCS. The win is hands down the biggest during the short two year tenure of head coach Joe Moorehead and more importantly keeps the Maroon and White undefeated at 2-0. On the One on One post game report, I talked with the game’s announcers Mike Watts and Nick Logerfo about the keys to success for the home team. Both the guys highlighted quarterback Michael Nebrich’s performance as the redshirt sophomore run for two touchdowns and threw for 190 yards. Our sideline reporter Matt Moro caught up with a joyous Coach Moorehead after the game as he was extremely proud of his squad. Despite Fordham losing starting linebacker Jake Rodriguez to injury, the Rams defense allowed just three points in the second half. As we are well into the school year, it's time for the first edition of the Roach report with Fordham Athletic Director David Roach. I spoke with Roach about the football team, specifically its matchup tonight with nationally ranked Villanova at home.
