Lost in Translation continued its road trip at Bentley University, sitting down with women's basketball forward Kylie DuCharme. DuCharme talked about growing up in small-town Wilmington, and how defense, rebounding and desire helped her earn a college basketball scholarship. She also spoke about biding her time on the bench, working hard, and sticking it out during her first two years of college before exploding as a junior.

The Lost in Translation road trip continues, as the LIT crew sat down with Bentley University captain Ella Thompson. The graduate student andstar talked about her journey from Indiana to Waltham, Mass., what motivates her heading into her third and final NCAA Tournament, her relationships with coaches and teammates, and potential plans for post college.

The Lost in Translation crew hit the road to gear up for March Madness, and payed a visit to the Boston University Terriers at their cozy home confines of Case Gymnasium. In part 1 of episode 32, Bobby and Sam caught up with a LIT veteran, BU head coach Joe Jones. Coach Jones reflected on what has been an ultimately successful season –- a second place regular season finish – but one fraught with growing pains for a young team along the way. Jones reflected back on coaching through Covid, talked about what kind of players he recruits, how BU has navigated the NIL and a player going viral, and gave his keys for tonight’s Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal matchup against Navy.

Freddy Petkus journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Born in Plunge, Lithuania, he spent the first 10 years of his life living in an occupied country under the boot of the Soviet Union. At age 10, he saw his country overthrow the Soviets and become the first former Soviet Block country to gain its independence. Through it all, basketball was a constant in Petkus life, and he followed it from his home country, to New Hampton prep school in rural New Hampshire, and on to a Division I scholarship at the University of Maine. Petkus coached for more than a decade after college before finally walking away from the game to launch his own business, Critical Mass Solar. He sat down to talk about his odyssey, including the immigrant experience, living under -- and overthrowing -- a dictatorship, the differences between the America and European game and what it takes to make it as an independent business man today.

To say athletics run in the family for father-daughter duo Tim and Eva Boudreau is a bit of an understatement. Tim was a 1,000 point scorer in basketball at Tewksbury high before a four-year Division I football career at Northeastern, where he went from freshman walk-on to senior captain. Eva is a star junior forward and two-year captain at Wilmington High School is well on her way to 1,000 points herself, and has aspirations to play hoops in college. Tim and Eva talked about each of their journey's through sports, how they've navigated the complexities of a talented parent helping a talented child, and who has the better jump shot, among other topics.

Hockey has been life for Lily Mackenzie. But she's ready for something different. When all is said and done, Mackenzie, a senior at Wilmington High, will go down as one of the greatest hockey players to ever come out of the town of Wilmington, Mass.. Her career could end this week. Mackenzie, who's 86 career goals are the most ever scored by a girl's player from Wilmington for the high school, and whose 122 points rank third in program history, has been a one-woman wrecking crew this season, having posted a six goal game along with several four goal and hat-trick games. Hockey has been the center of Mackenzie's world since she was in elementary school, and she continues to treasure every memory and wouldn't change a thing, but she's ready for something new. The senior sat down with the LIT crew to talk about her career, and the pressures that come with being "The Man" (or in this case Woman) with all eyes and bullseyes focused on you everytime your on the ice.
