The Bible is the ONLY way to know God! Interpreting Scripture is not an easy task but with several KEY elements guiding our minds when reading, we can rest assured we are not going to make grave errors. The ORIGINAL meaning is what we should be looking for in the Bible, not "our" meaning. Of course, there is an application, but that is derived from the original intent. We need the facts, We have to solve this case! What evidence should accompany true faith? If we had to measure an evidence so we could be sure that we are saved what would it look like? Is it works? Things you need to know about your Faith! No question in the life of a believer has been more worrisome than, "How do I know I'm truly saved?" Since the 1500's this question has been answered by people who are unable to rightly reveal their answer with Scripture. There are many false teachers that don't know it! In our world few individuals know how to speak accurately, read comprehensively or communicate effectively. We live in a time where it is easier to laugh, poke, scoff and make fun of someone and their ideas rather than be confronted by the fact that we just don't know how to listen. Reading and applying the Scriptures is no different. From 140 characters to emoticons, the Bible has long been misapplied because it is literature and must be read as such. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to Biblical truth because truth in ignorance is purveyed as error and error can be lethal. Many should not be teachers! Teachers are everywhere, but should they be? Scripture says in James 3:1 that many should not be teachers because those who teach are held to a stricter judgment.
