On the Irish calendar the Annunciation is moved from March 25th to April 8th. Our gospel reflection this week is the short version of the account of the Passion from the gospel of St Mark (15:21-41). We have a brief few thoughts to share on the gospel this week but both John and Shane's main suggestion is for you to sit and read and reread the account during the coming week and listen to what the Lord is speaking to each of us as we plod our way through this Holy Week in a world that seems half mad.
