You're Not The Boss Of Me!

It’s summer - and for many of us, summer includes travel and vacations.Whether you’re traveling by car or catching a flight, one of the first things you have to do is to decide what to pack! Now, a lot of times, I start out strong planning what to take with me by how many days I’ll be gone and what I’ll be doing. But, if you’re like me, packing is hard because of all the “what ifs” that start to creep in.So, what do we do??We just start grabbing things and throwing them in the suitcase “just in case.” We pack every pair of underwear we own for our 4-day trip - just in case. We even throw in things we haven’t worn in months - just in case. Please tell me I’m not alone here. And I want you to think of what that suitcase starts to look like. Now, all the sensible things that we packed ends up buried beneath the “just in case.” It’s harder to get the suitcase closed, things aren’t as organized, and what you need is harder to find or to get to.It’s kind of like that game, I’m Going on a Trip - you know the one.
