Sinopsis
The book Who am I? reveals, from a pure and innocent point-of-view, the daily life of a girl who has an extra chromosome and has to deal with the perception by adults that she, and all those with an extra or missing chromosome, do not understand the world.
The narrator and character presents herself as a being who is seeing our world for the first time, with all the awe that such experience deserves. She explains to the babies in heaven, who are waiting to be born, what it means to have Down Syndrome.
In a light and humorous way, she believes the day will come when it will be understood by adults. The book is the first of a series about childhood diversity, where children of different backgrounds and conditions talk about their life on Earth.
