US President Donald Trump, who next month celebrates his first term anniversary, has formally recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. He has ended decades of American diplomacy by ordering the State Department to prepare for moving the embassy to Jerusalem, making further uproar in the world and drawing anger and despair responses from people and leaders throughout the world who expected a third uprising in the Palestinian territories, the collapse of Palestinian-Israeli peace process, strengthening extremists and affecting the standing of the US in the world, mainly in the Middle East.

Donald Trump has officially recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In a short speech delivered at the White House, Trump directed the state department to start making arrangements to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The situation is commented by Shehab Al Makahleh, prominent Jordanian analyst, president of the Jordan-based Political Studies of the Middle East Center, Founder of the US-based Geostrategic Media Center, IMESClub member.

США официально в одностороннем порядке признали Иерусалим столицей Израиля. Также был анонсирован перевод посольства США из Тель Авива в Иерусалим. Ранее мировое сообщество настоятельно предостерегало американского президента от подобного шага, как контрпродуктивно и грозящего непоправимыми последствиями для региона и мира. Американский президент вознамерился перенести посольство США в Израиле в Иерусалим из Тель Авива, и тем самым признать его столицей. Pro-ISIS group threatens Paris with new terror attacks. On their poster, they raise a threatening question: Will police protect you from the wolves of the Islamic State? But this question is not only threatening. It is an important one. The answer is “no”. Until now we didn’t elaborate a strategy to counter lonely-wolf terrorism and terrorism itself. Pompous declarations «We killed bin Laden. We have defeated Al Qaeda”, “We liberated Mosul and Raqqa.
