Sienna and Annie discuss universal suffrage, politics and gender equality and being a mosquito. Huge leaps forwards in gender equality in the UK have been made in the almost 100 years since all women were allowed to vote. However, the gender pay gap remains stubbornly at 8%, women remain underrepresented in leadership positions and in politics, and violence against women remains widespread in society.
