Pastor Sergio talks to us about the importance about giving thanks to God and the people in our lives. We cannot lost Thanksgiving. What always brings the presence of God is a thankful heart! We're building the presence of God with our singing and praising. Thankfulness is a prerequisite for entertaining God. When you express thankfulness to God, He reigns His goodness and mercy. Goodness and mercy always follow a person who knows how to remain thankful and give praises to God. Thankfulness is a characteristic of the new nature and who you are in Christ. Everyday we have to decide if we're going to be the new me or the old me in our life with Christ. The act of being thankful promotes positive mental health!

Pastor Tina tells us about how God keeps His promises and how we have to believe this. When we do, we are safe with Him! Our mental health effects our perception of who God is. The pain of unwanted experiences cause pain and make life difficult, which makes it hard to know God's character. As we avoid pain, we avoid God. It's through our pain that God brings healing and teaches us who He is and who we are! We cannot limit God with our own beliefs. We have to read scripture knowing God loves us and is teaching us in his Word. We can't be on the throne of our own heart, God cannot heal us when this is happening. We can't walk around unaware of our own selfishness and prideful ways. The Word of God is true, but when we live in a constant state of protecting ourselves from pain, the lies begin to move faster than the truth does. Truth and patience heals!

We can't let what we hear in the world influence us to allow compromise in our Christian walk! He also tells us about what the purposes of a Pastor are. It's so tough to find joy in difficult trials in our lives, but if we allow our challenges to not effect us and spend time in God's Word to heal us! We have to trust God enough to allow him to heal us in our most challenging traumas. God created our brains to protect and survive trials and trouble, but pain and brokenness can cause us to be centered inside ourselves and not centered in God and His Word. A self centered life keeps us confused about why we are not where God wants us to be. Most of us center our faith on our circumstances and not God's purpose. We have to humble ourselves and not allow pride to give us an improper and unrealistic view of ourselves. We have to learn as believers to not be held or limited by our natural circums

He also talks to us about how we cannot avoid being under authority and not letting our pride get in the way. We can't have authority unless we're under authority. We have to allow Jesus to be our deliverer. What God does we do, if we're not, we're not following Him. We have to make Jesus our source for everything in our lives by reading the Bible and learning about Him. If we meet Him, we'll never go back to our old lives!

Our accomplishment is to say yes when God asks us to do something. God knows out situations and what we need. If we sense God is moving in some way, we have to move with Him! Nothing can change our situations except for the presence of the Lord. True breakthrough is inside every one of us from God. We can't be lazy in our faith in God, we have to stand up in our faith. God respects faith! As soon as we receive and accept the Word of God, change and breakthroughs can happen. Our God truly is the God of breakthroughs!

God puts certain people in our lives for a reason. If we're really living for Jesus, there should be things about us that point others to Jesus. Jesus corrects and disciplines the ones He loves! If we're going to stay on Yahweh's way, we have to be disciplined. Nothing worth having is easy! We have to repent, endure hardness and let God's Word and others correct us, then we will see and turn away from our lack of concern. For every trial and suffering we have, God has blessings for us!
