In 1999, I was with Center for Bio Ethical Reform (CBR) leading the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP). We were invited to take the display to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC by the UBC Students for Life. Upon are arrival in Vancouver, the university demanded CBR pay $10K for “security fees.” Instead of paying the fee, we sued the university. Despite that setback we still were able to train some students in pro-life apologetics. That is when I met the student leader for UBC Students for Life, Stephanie Gray.   Eventually, Stephanie and her group were able to conduct the outreach at UBC. Now, Stephanie has become one the foremast pro-life apologists in North America. The Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) recently published a new chart detailing whether the eight leading COVID-19 vaccine candidates supported by Operation Warp Speed are produced or tested using cells derived from abortions. The vaccine candidates evaluated are those produced by Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Novavax, Sanofi/GSK, Inovio, and Merck. The ACLU has withdrawn its lawsuit against seven cities in Texas that have enacted ordinances outlawing abortion within city limits. Each of these seven cities has also proclaimed itself a Sanctuary City for the Unborn, joining a movement that is spreading across the state of Texas. The ACLU’s decision to withdraw its lawsuit comes less than three months after it sued these cities over their decision to ban abortion within city borders. On Today’s show Mark interviews Mark Lee Dickson of Right to Life of East Texas, who drafted the ordinances and is leading the Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn movement. As expected, these strong and enforceable ordinances have successfully withstood legal scrutiny. Also, more people voted FOR the LA amendment than voted for Trump, which is a sign there remain some pro-life Dems. The POTUS does matter. Some Christians argued prior to the election POTUS’s view on abortion didn’t matter because he has little influence over it.
