Originally released for the Xbox, Windows and Playstation 2 back in 2005/2006. The game had great writers, great artists, and great designers but was troubled by internal disorganization as the team cut there teeth on producing a game as a new studio. Scott C.’s character art for the protagonist “Raz” Double Fine started a series of documentaries as a part of a Kickstarter for their game Broken Age. The series explored Psychonauts’ development. New To You Ep213: Remembering Jason Golliher (1976-2016) The week we take a pause from our standard fare.  John, Jules and Keith are joined this week by their long time friend Jason Plapp to reflect on the recent passing of a friend.  This is the first time we’ve recorded remotely so we could include Plapp from his home in Los Angeles where he works in the animation industry. This is a deluxe episode where we introduce you to our friend through the things he introduced to us.  Jason Golliher, who went by Jase or Jayse, for a time by Ari or Artie, and most recently Jackson Hall, was an artist and musician who we had the good fortune to know and befriend in college. What was new to us since last season?  Jules is excited for Amazon Prime’s new feature that allows you to download select content to a device for offline viewing. He made use of the feature to watch through Hannibal. ___________ pt1: The Man in the High Castle (TV 2015) John’s pick is the focus of this week’s segment. “The Man in the High Castle” is based on Philip K. Dick’s 1962 novel of the same name. You can watch the series on Amazon Prime streaming. The series was launched initially as part of Amazon Studio’s pilot program. Every year Amazon commissions pilots and releases them for the public to watch and review.
