Remember your first crush? Who doesn’t, right? There was something about the thrill of the chase and doing all the things that you thought would convince them to like you back. OMG - and then finding out they did like you back! It was like you’d convinced them to like you . . .Maybe that’s where our sales experience really started!! But if you are using this strategy still today to grow your direct sales team (and well, in your romantic relationships) -- you might be feeling (a) let down and (b) overwhelmed. Since we are discussing your network marketing business, I’ll focus on that, though you may be able to relate it to your romantic relationships somehow. Look at it this way, if you have to convince someone to join your team by constantly catering to them, do they actually have buy-in when it comes to being successful and creating their own stream of income?  Or, are they now dependent (and expectant) that you will handle everything for them? Now, they need to come to you for advice or permission as to how

Have you ever had one of those days? You know the ones, where you look around feeling like you’ve been go-go-go all day long, yet you’ve gotten nothing done?Those. Are. The. Worst.Am I right?But, what if, instead of beating yourself up or feeling like a failure...what if you offered yourself some grace and focused on three things that really matter: How did I connect today?What did I create today?Did I feel joy?If you can answer those questions and determine that you did make a genuine connection, that you had the opportunity to work in your area of genius to create, and that you did, in fact, feel joy -- then, my friend, you were a total rockstar.Maybe the laundry didn’t get folded.Maybe the dishes are still in the sink.Maybe you missed your workout.But maybe you made time for that person on your team who recently lost a parent.Maybe you created a social media post that helped someone else know that they are not alone.And maybe you laughed, you know -- that real laugh -- when you stopped what you were doing

Leadership has so many layers to it, if you really stop to think about it. There isn’t just one right way to lead because different styles and strategies impact different people...well, differently. When I started my network marketing business with my current company, I had no idea just how amazing the opportunity I was being presented with was. I knew incredible things were about to happen, but, honestly, I never imagined that it would be THIS big! After reaching the TOP of the company (the first time), I felt so inspired to help others to do the same. I didn’t want to only help those I’d linked arms with inside my company though. I felt so strongly about the Network Marketing Industry, I  WANTED TO HELP EVERYONE!  This desire is what brought my brand and coaching business to life. But, recently, there’s been a shift.
