1994's With Honors  Convinced his thesis will have him graduate with honors from Harvard University, a stuffy student finds himself at the mercy of a homeless man's demands when he holds the papers hostage. 2023's Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny  Archaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary artifact that can change the course of history. This movie isn't as bad as the 4th one but its not great either.  We spend the last 10 minutes of the show making revisions that make it a way better film.  Hopfully you won't get mad too.  Cheapseat Reviews the podcast that explores the Hollywood film industry for the greater good. 

1994's Star Trek Generations  With the help of long presumed dead Captain Kirk, Captain Picard must stop a deranged scientist willing to murder on a planetary scale in order to enter a space matrix. This movie means a lot to Shawn.  Yes, we know it's not a great movie, but it's the first film his dad took him to see in the theaters and he cherrish's the memory.  And also, it's pronouced Data! 2019's 1917  April 6th, 1917. As an infantry battalion assembles to wage war deep in enemy territory, two soldiers are assigned to race against time and deliver a message that will stop 1,600 men from walking straight into a deadly trap. This film is a 2 hour one shot and its brilliant in how it's done.  We highly recommend this film and it's such a great watch! 2019's Jojo Rabbitt  A young German boy in the Hitler Youth, whose hero and imaginary friend is the country's dictator, is shocked to discover that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. We had so much fun with this film.  It's smart, it's clever and heartfelt.  You will cry at the end.  This is a much watch!  Cheapseat Reviews the podcast the explores the Hollywood film industry for the greater good . 

2011's Hobo with a Shotgun A homeless vigilante blows away crooked cops, pedophile Santas, and other scumbags with his trusty pump-action shotgun. 1981's Friday the 13th Part 2.  Five years after the events of the first film, a summer camp next to the infamous Camp Crystal Lake is preparing to open, but the legend of Jason is weighing heavy on the proceedings. 1991's The People Under the Stairs  When Fool breaks into the home of his family's landlords, he discovers that they have mutilated several boys and kept them imprisoned under stairs. As Fool attempts to flee, he meets their daughter, Alice. Can Fool and Alice escape? 2013's Evil Dead Mia, a drug addict, is determined to kick the habit. To that end, she asks her brother, David, his girlfriend, Natalie and their friends Olivia and Eric to accompany her to their family's remote forest cabin to help her through withdrawal. Eric finds a mysterious Book of the Dead at the cabin and reads aloud from it, awakening an ancient demon. All hell breaks loose when the malevolent entity possesses Mia. 1986's Highlander An immortal Scottish swordsman must confront the last of his immortal opponents, a murderously brutal barbarian who lusts for the fabled "Prize". Cameron joins us for the last time to review one of the ultimate Sword and Sorcery flicks.  Does it hold up? Is it good? Does it have value? 2007's Ghost Town the Movie Dean Teaster's 'Ghost Town The Movie', is a unique "Eastern" Western. It is N.C. native Dean Teaster's tribute to his father Robert Doyle Teaster and "Ghost Town In The Sky" theme park. This is a film that Shawn worked on as a boom operator in his film days.  Yes, this movie isn't very good.  Yes, the sound is bad, the acting is bad, the story is bad and the writing is bad.  But we had a good time talking about it and Shawn enjoyed reminicing about this fim.  Cheapseat Reviews the podcast that explores the Hollywood film industry for the greater good. 

1986's Aliens Decades after surviving the Nostromo incident, Ellen Ripley is sent out to re-establish contact with a terraforming colony but finds herself battling the Alien Queen and her offspring. This movie was picked because it was Shawn's first R rated film.  Is it as scary as I remember? 2023's Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning  Ethan Hunt and his IMF team must track down a dangerous weapon before it falls into the wrong hands. We start our final 15 episodes with a bang and lots of running and cool stunts.  Join us as we review the most recent Mission Impossible film.  This movie has all the great stunts and action and intruige and spy stuff.  Cheapseat Reviews the podcast that explores the Holywood film industry for the greater good. 

1995's A Goofy Movie  When Max makes a preposterous promise to a girl he has a crush on, his chances to fulfilling it seem hopeless when he is dragged onto a cross-country trip with his embarrassing father, Goofy. We end our summer break month with a fun film from our youth.  A goofy movie is a wholesome, father - son road trip about bonding and learning about each other.  Also the music is great and we're still waiting for that Powerline CD to drop.    Cheapseat Reviews the podcast that explores the Hollywood film industry for the greater good. 

1995's Heavyweights  Plump kids are lured into joining a posh fat camp with the promise of quick weight loss and good times, only to find that it is a woodland hellhole run by a psycho ex-fitness instructor. This fun Disney film brought back lots of nostalgia for the both of us.  Andrew loves this film and watches it often, not the case for Shawn.  Does it hold up? Is Ben Stiller a good bad guy? 1980's Friday the 13th  A group of teenage camp counselors attempt to re-open an abandoned summer camp with a tragic past, but they are stalked by a mysterious, relentless killer. Andrew and I watch for the first time, and were completly surprised by the fact that Jason wasn't in this film.  How did we now know this fact? 1993's The Sandlot  In the summer of 1962, a new kid in town is taken under the wing of a young baseball prodigy and his rowdy team, resulting in many adventures. The first of our month long series of Summer Break Movies.  The Sandlot is a fun and nostalgic film for Andrew and Shawn.  There's very little to complain about with this movie and we both love it dearly.   Cheapseat Reviews the Podcast that explores the Hollywood film industry for the greater good. 

2024's Rebel Moon 2 Kora and surviving warriors prepare to defend Veldt, their new home, alongside its people against the Realm. The warriors face their pasts, revealing their motivations before the Realm's forces arrive to crush the growing rebellion. We end our month of Star Wars adjacent movies with the 2nd of what we now know will be a triolgy, of the Rebel Moon franchize.  Its a better film than the first and it does have some stunning visuals and looks amazing but once again we find ourselves not caring about these characters and just waiting for the robot to finally do something.  But if you like a good specticle, then this is your franchize.  Cheapseat Reviews the podcast that explores the Hollywood film industry for the greater good. 

1985's Explorers  A boy obsessed with '50s sci-fi movies about aliens has a recurring dream about a blueprint of some kind, which he draws for his inventor friend. With the help of a third kid, they follow it and build themselves a spaceship. Now what? 1979's Disney's The Black Hole A research vessel finds a missing ship, commanded by a mysterious scientist, on the edge of a black hole.
