    Entering his 10th year as head coach, which makes him the longest tenured head coach in Kentucky football history, Mark Stoops continue to set the standard for the program. In January, the VRBO Citrus Bowl was a cool-record six consecutive bowl games and a fourth straight bowl win. The victory over Iowa was the 16th straight non-conference win which is the longest active streak in the country. In addition, Stoops has 59 wins in the Blue and White, needing only two more triumphs to surpass the school standard of 60 set by Paul “Bear” Bryant. Coach Stoops track record at Kentucky is evidence of his ability to build and maintain a strong football culture.     Alonzo cart Alonzo Carter is the assistant head coach, running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at San Jose State. He was recognized by 247Sports.com as the Mountain West Recruiter of the Year in 2019.

Coach Carter became a national figure in college football and the coaching profession in the spring of 2020 organizing his "West Coast ZOOM Calls." He desired to assist minority coaches with upward mobility in the coaching profession, the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sports and society. 
In August, 2020, he was named to the National Coalition of Minority Football Coaches (NCMFC) executive committee. The organization's goal is to identify and groom coaches of color, and create a list of coaching candidates for upward mobility. On campus, he now serves as an advisor to the student-athlete groups, People of Change and #SJSpeaksUp.

    Costello Marty Costello enters his seventh year with the Winipeg Blue Bombers in 2022, and fifth as the team’s offensive line coach. Coach Costello has won two Grey Cup Championships with the Blue Bombers offensive line, which remains the most-consistent and dominant unit in the Canadian Football League. Coach Costello first came to Winnipeg in 2016 to serve as assistant offensive line coach to Bob Wylie. Prior to joining Winnipeg, Costello spent two seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point as run-game coordinator and offensive line coach Before UWSP, Costello coached at Valley City State.   • Woody Hayes Passing Game

    In 1958, Glen “Tiger” Ellison created the Run and Shoot offense to turn his community’s football fortunes around and in the process he not only saved his job, but rallied the success into a position on Woody Hayes’s Ohio State staff. At Middletown High School in Ohio, Ellison and the offense led the team to a 38-7 record and began a revolution. After winning with his Run and Shoot Offense, Tiger went on to become an assistant for Mr. “Three Yards and a Cloud of Dust” himself, Woody Hayes. Woody wrote the Foreword to Tiger’sbook, noting to Ellison, “You’re the forward-passingest coach in the country, and they say I’m the most non-passingest coach that ever lived.” Woody was known for saying “When you throw a pass, three things can happen, and two of them are bad."
