  • Episode 123 | Monday Message With Frantzces Emotions Are Information

    01/07/2019 Duración: 05min

Emotions are information so when we avoid to feel them we miss out. When we’re going through it, we often don’t always want to acknowledge the pain and the hurt. So we do everything that we possibly can to avoid feeling it. But again emotions are information, they are our compass. They tell us what we need. Whatever is going on right now, take a moment to explore it and process it. Frantzces provides a step by step process to work through the difficult stuff. Because sometimes an inspirational quote or a passage or anything can’t always make it better. Sometimes the one thing we need to do is the one thing that’s the hardest to do. While on a trip to D.C. Frantzces’ things were stolen. Her book bag had everything you can think of such as her mac laptop, her kindle, her phone and a bunch of other items. She wrote a book called We Out: How to End Our Abusive Relationship with AmeriKKKa: The Blueprint. Her ideas are that until a system recognizes the oppression that it places on its marginalized people, then the violence, the killing, and the issues that plague the people will continue to exist. Wendy expressed how transitioning to Mexico enhanced her quality of life, but first, her body had to detox the poor nutrition she had in the States. The affordability and the ability to maintain your health abroad is much more feasible than it is in the States. • Episode 115 | Monday Message With Frantzces On Being Single

    03/06/2019 Duración: 07min

Being single isn’t easy. We sometimes wonder despite these amazing qualities that we have why are we still single? On today’s Monday Message, Frantzces talks about the difference between intentionality and longing. And how sometimes the longing part gets in the way of finding the person that we would like to share your lives with. Because of that longing, we sometimes ignore the red flags which make us focus on the potential of something or someone and not necessarily the person that’s in front of us. So we find ourselves giving passes and getting into situationships. Despite the complexities of love and relationships Frantzces still says to not give up on love. As humans, we can’t help but to want deep connections with others. If the person that you’re looking for hasn’t shown up yet then there are other things you can do. So this Monday Message, Frantzces says don’t give up on love. • Episode 114 | Monday Message With Frantzces Energy Is Everything

    27/05/2019 Duración: 09min

Today Frantzces talks about how energy is everything. But on the last few Monday Messages, Frantzces spent some time talking about the lessons she learned while living abroad. If you haven’t listened to them yet, here is her favorite lesson of all. What does Frantzces mean by energy is everything? Energy dictates the kind of life you live. You can use energy to your advantage by calling the things you want into your life through the energy you produce. If your energy is negative it can also call the things you don’t want in your life. If you find yourself having setbacks, it’s because you’re energy is consistently operating at a low frequency. What that means is you need to find a way to bring your energy from low to high so that you can allow more blessings into your life. So this Monday Message is just another reminder to begin shifting your energy so you can call forth the things you want in your life. Would you like to continue the conversation? • Episode 113 | Monday Message With Frantzces The Last Lesson

    20/05/2019 Duración: 06min

On the last lesson, we talked about living abroad although it can be lonely at times, it also teaches you how to enjoy your own company. Many of us have a lot of distractions and people around that it gets in the way of us getting to know ourselves better. Being alone also helps to build our resiliency because we have to navigate new nuances on a daily basis. On today’s Monday Message, the last lesson that Frantzces learned was how self-care improves your quality of life. Some of us aren’t sure what a “good” quality of life looks like because we haven’t ventured outside of our regular grind. However, when you move abroad, you have nothing but time to focus on yourself. The term self-care is tossed around a lot but that’s only because it matters a lot. When we focus on ourselves it may feel selfish but it isn’t. It’s the most important act of courage that you can display. Because when you’re okay, everything else around you is even better. I’ll leave you with this quote by Katie Reed, “Self-care is giving the

  • Episode 112 | Monday Message With Frantzces Traveling Alone

    13/05/2019 Duración: 05min

One of the things that’s heard a lot on Chronicles Abroad is how many people find it difficult to travel alone. Most often people are terrified of the idea of traveling to a new country without going with someone they know. They are so terrified that because they are waiting for someone to go with them. Stop waiting. Traveling alone is one of the most liberating and resilient acts of courage that you can do. You get to learn a lot about yourself. The things you want and need as well as the things you don’t want an need. Living abroad forces you to be comfortable with being by yourself. And for some of us, this is a great remedy for self-discovery. Someone once said, “Those who fly alone have the strongest wings.” So this Monday Message is just another reminder that you can do a lot of things solo and it’s going to be okay. In fact, it’s encouraged. Get comfortable with your own company. Would you like to continue the conversation? Reach out to us at info@chroniclesabroad.com So tune in! Want to connect more

  • Episode 111 | Monday Message With Frantzces A Lesson On Attachments

    06/05/2019 Duración: 07min

Frantzces learned a life-changing lesson on attachments. Many of us have never put too much thought on our attachments to people and things. It’s important to know what healthy and unhealthy attachments look like. The way we develop attachments to others growing up has a massive impact on our attachments as adults. Living abroad taught the lesson of impermanence and attachment because the living abroad community is transient, which means people come and they go. Often for very short spurts or for a few months or even years. But it’s not uncommon to have an amazing connection with someone only to find out they are leaving the same day. How do you manage that constant fluctuation in relationships? Living abroad forces you to be comfortable with this state of being. Buddha says, “The root of suffering is attachment.”  So this Monday Message is just another reminder about to check-in with ourselves about the way we connect with people. • Episode 109 | Monday Message With Frantzces Lesson 2 You Don't Need Much

    29/04/2019 Duración: 05min

Frantzces learned in lesson number two is that you don't need much to be happy. As she traveled to different parts of the world she met a lot of people who were content with what they have.  She believes that there is an over-consumption of stuff in the Western world. It has a lot to do with how much self-worth we feel that we have. Some of us buy things to fill a void or to be someone that we're not.  When you travel to different countries you often see people happy with so little.  A Swedish proverb says, “He who buys what he doesn’t need, steals from himself.” So this Monday Message is just another reminder about the things that truly matter in life. • Episode 107 | Monday Message With Frantzces Lessons From Living Abroad

    22/04/2019 Duración: 06min

Frantzces learned some valuable lessons while living abroad for the past three years. She is going to spend the next five Monday Messages breaking these messages down and sharing some of her insights with the hopes that it encourages you to reflect a bit more deeply about your life. The first lesson is about not being able to outrun your problems. There was a lot going on at the time that Frantzces decided to move abroad. Maya Angelou always said, “You must first tell yourself the truth before you can tell it to someone else.” So this Monday Message is just another reminder about how you can first begin the process of healing. • Episode 105 | Monday Message With Frantzces Purpose Is A Feeling

    15/04/2019 Duración: 05min

Finding our purpose and calling in life doesn’t start with the outside, it’s a feeling, it’s something that comes from the inside first. Nipsey Hustle’s death brought about a lot of emotions such as why the good die young phenomenon and had us thinking about the kind of world we want to live in. He seemed to have known what he wanted his world to look like and he was on a mission to build that world. But his life and death was a stark reminder that purpose is a feeling. It’s not something that could be created through spreadsheets and pros and cons list but something that goes deeper than that. You know, Maya Angelou always said, “People don’t always remember what you did but they sure as hell remember how you made them feel.” And this is why we think purpose is a feeling. When you find the feeling you find the purpose. So this Monday Message is just a little reminder about that. Please tune in! Would you like to continue the conversation?
