The Sox wrapped up by winning the final 3 series of the Regular Season.  With Sunday's victory, the Sox finish the season 16 games over .500, matching the high-water mark for the 2025 season (5X). ----- Jose on the Bump: The Red Sox selected the contract of Jose De Leon on Sunday, and the 33-year-old made his 1st Big League start since 2023 with the Twins in Sunday's Regular Season finale. De Leon, who went 0-9 with a 7.05 ERA in 22 Games (13 Game Starts) with Triple-A Worcester in 2025, turned in a solid outing and left the game with a 1-run lead. De Leon went 6.2 Innings and gave way to Steven Matz with 2 on & 2 out in the 7th. He walked 3, struck out 8 and induced 2Groundball Double Plays.     The Red Sox (88-73) dropped a 2-1 decision to the Detroit Tigers on Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. With the win, the Tigers clinch the season series vs. the Red Sox and secure a playoff berth in the American League Postseason. It's possible the Tigers could host the Red Sox in the Best 2 out of 3 Wild Card Round, which gets started on Tuesday.      ----- Early Time: Connelly Early made the start for the Red Sox the day after the club clinched a postseason berth. Early gave up a Single to Jahmai Jones and then retired 13 in a row before getting into trouble in the 5th Inning. Early gave up a 2-out, 4-pitch walk to the #9 hitter Parker Meadows to load up the bases. The next hitter Jones knocked in 2 with a 2-out Single and that put the Tigers in front, 2-1.   ----- Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board in the 2nd Inning against Tigers starter Keider Montero.     The Red Sox (88-72) came-from-behind and walked off in the Bottom of the 9th Inning with a 4-3 win in the series opener against the Detroit Tigres Friday night at Fenway Park. Ceddanne Rafaela knocked in the winning run with an RBI Triple that scored Romy Gonzalez all the way from 1st Base with the winning run. With the win, the Sox clinch a Wild Card spot and are in the postseason for the first time since 2021.  Red Sox 6 relievers combined for 6 scoreless Innings. Aroldis Chapman gave up a leadoff Double in the 9th but left the potential go-ahead run at 3rd by getting 2 strikeouts to work out of the jam.  -----Harrison on the Hill: Kyle Harrison made his 2nd straight start and was unable to get out of the 4th Inning.
